Aftercare Advice

Lash Extension

Eyelash Extension Aftercare Information:The natural eyelash cycle is approximately four to twelve weeks. Do not be alarmed if some of your lashes fall out days after your treatment, at times quite a few can fall out. This is because the natural lashes were already about to fall out. Do not be alarmed or be tempted to remove the remaining lashes as this is normal.

The majority of extensions will stay through a complete cycle if you follow these guidelines.

Your natural eyelashes should not get wet for a minimum of 12 hours; 48 hours would be ideal to allow the adhesive properly to bond to a dry eyelash. Try and protect your extensions from becoming totally saturated.

Do not use regular or waterproof mascara. Most brands of mascara contain chemical properties and oils that will break down the adhesive. Removing mascara from your lashes can cause the extensions to fall off prematurely as well.

Take special care around the eye area when cleansing your face. Gently cleanse the eye area and do not scrub or rug your eyes. Avoid any type of oil-based product around the eyes.

Never use a clamp-style eyelash curler on your extensions, we recomend an eyelash comb as they are great for grooming your lashes every morning.

Normal activities like swimming, can resume after the appointment after a full 48hrs.

Be sure to schedule a infill every 2 to 3 weeks for timely touch-ups. This will keep your lashes looking full and natural, indefinitely. This wil also give the technician the oppurtunity to remove loose lashes professionally. After your first session you may require infills as soon as 3-7 days depending on the individual, however after a couple of sessions you will get longer wear as your technician works in with your natural growth cycle.

If your lashes start to fall out do not ever attempt to remove the extensions yourself. Have them removed by our professional technicians. This will ensure no damage occurs to your natural lashes. If you want your lashes removed it is recomended you return to the salon and allow the technician to removr them. A refund will not be given if you remove them yourself. There are many reasons lashes fall out. There are many types of adhesives and we choose to use formeldehyde free glues. This can mean that occationally the softer and sensitive glues do not suit everyone due to natural oil secretions and body chemistry. If you loose too many lashes you may need to try a different adhesive, although rare this can occur.

Contact your technician immediately if you have any questions or concerns with your lashes. Your technician will need to see the lashes and speak to you in person and in the salon before giving further advice.

Enjoy your new lashes!

Spray Tan

Preparation Instructions

The night before your tan we recomend you  exfoliate and moisturise, paying particular attention to dry areas such as elbows, knees and ankles.

Waxing or shaving should occur at least 24 hours before your tan. This will allow time for the pores to close. The wil ensure you do not get a dotting effect.

We recomend you paint nails and toenails - especially if they are acrylics or similar. This will avoid the use of acetones on the hands which can leave a blotchy effect.

DO NOT moisturise, use skin lotions or oil on the day of your tan or use deoderants.

Remove make-up, deodorant and perfumes BEFORE your tan as they act as a barrier.

We advise you to remove contact lenses before the tan as they may become stained and contaminated.

Bring loose fitting clothing and thongs to the seesion.

After your treatment

Wear dark, loose clothing for after your treatment, any tight clothing or underwear may cause wear marks.

Wear thongs.

Do not shower or bathe for at least 8 hours (the development period).

Try not to touch your skin during development time as your palms will stain. Top tip: wear loose sock over your hands in bed.

After havinh a showet we recomend you pat dry only. Do not rub as this may cause blotching or unever wear on the tan.

We recomend you moisturise regularly. This will help maintain your tan for longer.

After 5 days, start to lightly exfoliate to ensure an even fade. Pay attention to the areas that become blotchy.

NOTE: Please remember that your tan does not have any SPF factor and you should wear sun protection as usual.
